Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam!

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to your 4-star hotel. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter, followed by a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Explore Hanoi’s Rich Heritage & Board the Overnight Train to Lao Cai

Embark on a full-day city tour of Hanoi, visiting landmarks such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, and the Ethnology Museum. Explore vibrant local markets before boarding the overnight soft-sleeper train to Lao Cai.

Day 3: Arrival in Lao Cai & Transfer to Sapa

Arrive early morning in Lao Cai and transfer by car to Sapa. Check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, take a test biking ride on local roads and trails often used by ethnic minority tribes.

Day 4: Biking Sapa to Ta Phin

Start cycling through breathtaking landscapes from Sapa to Ta Phin Village, home to Red Dao and Black Hmong communities. Pass forested hills and terraced rice fields.

Day 5: Sapa to Lai Chau via Tram Ton Pass

Begin the journey from Sapa, climbing Vietnam’s highest road—Tram Ton Pass (2,000m)—before descending into the lush valleys of Lai Chau, passing tea plantations and waterfalls.

Day 6: Lai Chau to Muong Lai

Continue biking through challenging terrain, encountering remote hill tribe villages and lush mountainous regions. This day includes climbs and descents with sweeping views of the valleys below.

Day 7: Muong Lai to Dien Bien Phu

Ride from Muong Lay to the historic battlefield city of Dien Bien Phu, where you’ll meet locals from different ethnic groups and admire rugged mountain scenery.

Day 8: Dien Bien Phu Exploration & Muong Phang Loop

Explore the historic highlights of Dien Bien Phu, including the war museum, former French bunkers, and local markets. In the afternoon, cycle the Muong Phang Loop for panoramic views.

Day 9: Cross Border to Laos – Dien Bien Phu to Muang Khua

After breakfast, transfer to the Vietnam–Laos border and continue cycling on rural dirt roads past Red and Black Thai villages. Arrive at the tranquil riverside town of Muang Khua.

Day 10: Rest Day & Boat Ride Along Nam Ou River

Enjoy a peaceful boat cruise along the Nam Ou River, stopping at remote riverside villages to experience traditional Lao life. Reach the serene village of Muang Ngoy.

Day 11: Muang Ngoy to Nong Kiau

Continue the journey by boat and then bike along quiet dirt roads through stunning landscapes toward Nong Khiaw, a riverside village surrounded by limestone mountains.

Day 12: Nong Kiau to Luang Prabang

Ride along winding roads beside the Nam Ou River, passing scenic countryside and hill tribe villages on your way to Luang Prabang, the UNESCO World Heritage city.

Day 13: Explore Luang Prabang & Farewell Dinner

Take a city tour visiting Wat Xieng Thong, Mount Phousi, the Royal Palace Museum, and local handicraft markets. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner to celebrate the journey.

Day 14: Departure from Luang Prabang
