4 Days Saigon-Cuchi Tunnels-Mekong Tour

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be greeted and privately transferred to your hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the bustling streets of this vibrant metropolis at your own pace.

DAY 2: CU CHI TUNNELS & HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR (B)

Start your day with a fascinating journey into Vietnam’s wartime past:

• Cu Chi Tunnels – Discover the remarkable underground network used during the Vietnam War. Walk through reconstructed sections and gain insight into life in the tunnels.

• Enjoy special tea and cassava, once the staple diet of guerrilla fighters.

In the afternoon, return to the city for a half-day guided tour:

• War Remnants Museum – A moving look at the impacts of the Vietnam War

• Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office – Two iconic colonial-era landmarks

• Ben Thanh Market – Spend an hour browsing for local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs

Return to your hotel. Evening at leisure.

DAY 3: MEKONG DELTA EXPERIENCE (B/L)

After breakfast, drive two hours to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a full day exploring this lush region:

• Take a boat cruise on the Tien River, passing fish farms and floating markets

• Cross to Ben Tre, known as the land of coconuts – visit local workshops to see how crafts are made from coconut trunks and shells

• Enjoy seasonal fruits and traditional folk music in a local garden

• Ride a Xe Lôi (motor cart) through the village and visit Mr. Nam Ngo’s orchard for honey tasting and a chance to see bee farming

• Glide by rowing boat along tranquil palm-lined canals

• Enjoy a local lunch on the islets and visit a coconut candy workshop for a taste of this regional specialty

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. Evening at leisure.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE (B)

Enjoy your final morning with some free time for shopping or relaxation. Afterward, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
