ITINERARY

Day 1: Welcome to Bhutan!

Your adventure begins as you land in Paro, where you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the serene surroundings.

Day 2: Paro to Thimphu – Cultural Exploration

Kick off your journey at the 17th-century Ta Dzong, now Bhutan’s National Museum. Visit the Rinpung Dzong, featured in Little Buddha, then drive to Thimphu for a stroll through the weekend market.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing

Immerse yourself in Bhutanese culture with a full day tour of Thimphu. Visit Memorial Chorten, National Library, Drubthob Nunnery, Folk Heritage Museum, and the Takin Preserve. Along the way, experience traditional Bhutanese crafts and cuisine.

Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha – Journey through the Himalayas

Pass through the scenic Dochu La Pass en route to Punakha Valley. Take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang Temple and visit Punakha Dzong before heading to your campsite along the Mo Chu River, where you can unwind with a hot stone bath and local drinks.

Day 5: Punakha Exploration & Return to Paro

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten and a visit to Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery. Return to Paro in the afternoon, with picturesque views along the way.

Day 6: Trek to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Challenge yourself with a 4-6 hour hike to the iconic Taktshang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery, perched 900m above Paro Valley. After exploring, enjoy lunch at a mountain café before returning to Paro.

In the evening, dine with a local family in a traditional farmhouse.

Day 7: Farewell Bhutan – Hello Nepal!

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bhutan with a transfer to Paro airport for your flight to Kathmandu,

Nepal. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and taken to your hotel for check-in.

Day 8: Kathmandu Exploration

Dive into Nepalese culture with a visit to Bodhnath Stupa, followed by tours of Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square. Enjoy hands-on activities like pottery-making and sampling local yoghurt before ending the evening with dinner and a traditional Nepali dance performance.

Day 9-10: Chitwan National Park Adventure

Travel by road to Chitwan National Park for a two-day wildlife safari. Experience jeep safaris, nature walks, and a dugout canoe ride along the Rapti River. Look out for rhinos, elephants, and if you’re lucky, the Bengal tiger. Enjoy a Tharu cultural dance in the evening.

Day 11: Scenic Flight to Pokhara

Take a short flight to the lakeside town of Pokhara, gateway to the Annapurna range. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the town or relaxing by the lake.

Day 12: Sunrise at the Peace Pagoda

Witness the stunning sunrise from the World Peace Pagoda with views of the Annapurna range. After a walk through Raniban forest and a boat ride on Lake Phewa, visit a Tibetan refugee camp and Matepani Monastery.

Day 13: Free Day in Pokhara

Enjoy a full day at your own pace. Take part in optional activities such as paragliding, cycling, or simply relaxing by the lakeshore.

Day 14: Return to Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu for a final day of exploration. Visit Swayambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square, then experience the city by rickshaw and explore the bustling Thamel Market.

Day 15: Tour Ends

Your journey concludes today with a transfer to Kathmandu Airport. For those interested, an optional Everest scenic flight can be arranged in the morning before your departure.
