This tour begins in Paro and takes you on a 6-day trek through pristine forests, past traditional villages, and along scenic mountain passes. The trek offers incredible opportunities to explore Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage, including the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Punakha Dzong, and ancient monasteries in the capital, Thimphu. Experience the beauty of Bhutan’s architecture and nature while trekking through forests of oak, rhododendron, and chir pine. ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Paro

Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at leisure or relax after your flight.

Day 2: Paro Sightseeing – Tiger’s Nest Monastery

After breakfast, visit Bhutan’s famous landmark, the Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang). This cliffside monastery is said to be where Guru Padmasambhava landed on the back of a tigress and meditated. The hike is steep but offers rewarding views.

Day 3: Paro to Thimphu

Today, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s quiet capital city. Along the way, stop by the ancient Simtokha Dzong. You will have the rest of the day free to explore Thimphu at your own pace.

Day 4: Thimphu to Shong Pang (Trek Begins)

Begin your trek from Dechencholing Palace, the residence of the queen mother, and head towards Pangrizam. From here, the trail takes you on a 4-5 hour hike to Shong Pang, passing through scenic landscapes. Tonight’s camp is near Chamina village.

Day 5: Shong Pang to Dopshing Pang

Today’s trek ascends gradually to Sinchula Pass. From here, you can enjoy views of Phajodhing Monastery. The trek continues downhill, passing Talo Monastery before reaching Thinly Gang village and finally Dopshing Pang.

Day 6: Dopshing Pang to Chorten Ningpo

Trek through Bhutan’s virgin blue pine forests, traveling past villages and rice fields to reach Chorten Ningpo. This section of the trek is relatively easy and offers breathtaking scenery along the way.

Day 7: Chorten Ningpo to Zomlingthang

Today, trek for a few hours until you reach Punakha Dzong, the ancient winter capital of Bhutan, beautifully situated between two rivers. After visiting the dzong, continue trekking until you reach Zomlingthang for your overnight stay.

Day 8: Zomlingthang to Limukha

After breakfast, trek towards Limukha, following the trail through chir pine forests with panoramic views of the Punakha Valley. If the weather is clear, you’ll also catch glimpses of the surrounding mountains.

Day 9: Limukha to Chungsaka

Leave Limukha and trek toward Chungsaka, crossing Dochula Pass. Enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayas before descending through forests filled with oak and rhododendron trees.

Day 10: Chungsaka to Wangdiphodrang

Trek downhill through dense forests to reach the road that will take you to Wangdiphodrang, where you will stay the night. On the way, visit a monastery dedicated to the Divine Madman.

Day 11: Wangdiphodrang to Thimphu, Return to Paro

After breakfast, drive back to Thimphu. Along the way, visit Punakha Dzong and admire its incredible architecture. Later in the day, continue your journey to Paro, where you will spend the night.

Day 12: Departure from Paro

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. We hope you had a memorable trekking adventure in Bhutan and look forward to seeing you again.
